We had our barbecue night at Bricolage Farm and Homestay. Chef TJ prepared all the courses for us. It was a structured dining. There were 8 courses in total. Chef TJ presented us the lighter taste of food first followed by the heavier ones. Spicy taste came in the middle to increase and enhance our appetite. There were many varieties of extraordinary dishes and indeed it was one of the best Fusion cuisines we had ever tasted.
The list below would be our barbecue menu for that day, 10th June 2016.
1. Korean Bean Paste Marinated Squid
2. Cincalok (Fermented Shrimp) and Belacan Enhanced Chicken Wings
3. Fu-Yee (Fermented Bean Curd) Garlic Pork Ribs
4. Sambal Fish Wrapped in Banana Leaves
5. Green Curry Wild Boar Ribs
6. Rosemary Scented Lamb Cutlets
7. Buttered Corn on Cob
8. Pesto Sweet Potato

Chef TJ barbecued and grilled for us and we did not even have to do a single thing for it. This is because Chef TJ knew the right temperature and the correct cooking time to barbecue the food. He is an expert on which food should be served first and which should go last. There were many varieties of extraordinary dishes and indeed it was one of the best Fusion cuisines we had ever tasted.
At 1:00 am, Chef TJ drove us down to Karak town for the famous, local Wan Tan Mee as supper.

There is also another type of dinner for guest to choose. It is Four Courses Western Set at RM100 per person, tailored to individual’s preferences.
